Andre Carter Injury Update: Loss Of Carter 'Big Blow' To Patriots

Andre Carter suffered a quad injury during the New England Patriots' 41-23 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon at Mile High Stadium in Denver, CO. Carter, who leads the team with 10 sacks this season and has 52 tackles this season, will reportedly require season-ending surgery, which is a big blow to the Pats according to Vince Wilfork.

Vince Wilfork spoke about the Carter injury after the game against the #Broncos saying: "It's a big blow for us. That guy has been playing some real good football for us, and we're definitely going to miss his presence out there on the field, however long he's out. It's a tough loss for us." (via Marc Bertrand on Twitter)

Carter has 494 career tackles, 17 forced fumbles and 76 sacks in 162 games.
