The Denver Broncos took a 6-0 lead over the New England Patriots at Sports Authority Field on Sunday when Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow scored on a 9-yard touchdown run. Tebow capped off a 9-play, 80-yard opening drive for the Broncos with the bruising run. Tebow only threw one pass (which was complete) during the drive.
On 2nd and five from the Patriots 9-yard line, Tebow keep the ball on the zone read play. He first broke a tackle in the Broncos' backfield, then slipped past two converging New England defenders. Tebow slipped another tackle attempt near the five yard line and wasn't stopped by the last Patriots defender's ankle tackle.
So far, the Patriots have not been able to stop the rushing attack of the Broncos.
