Patriots Vs. Giants: Shooting At Gillette Stadium

The Patriots are currently in the second quarter of play. However, WCVB TV is currently reporting that an hour before kickoff the police were called to the Gillette Stadium parking lot in Foxborough to deal with a shooting. At 3:05 p.m. the police were called as a man had shot himself in the leg.

There is no word yet on if this was a gang related shooting or if the man just wanted to imitate Plaxico Burress who famously shot himself in the leg in 2008. There is no current update on the condition of the man nor is there any information if he is a Patriots or Giants fan. There also hasn't been a statement released regarding why he brought a gun to the game today. The Foxboro police as well as the Norfolk County District Attorny's office are both currently investigating the situation.
