Behind another stellar performance from tight end Rob Gronkowski -- four catches, 96 yards and two touchdowns -- the New England Patriots clobber the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night, 34-3, in a AFC East showdown at Gillette Stadium. The victory helped the Pats improve to 7-3 overall and now have a two-game lead in the AFC East Standings over the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, which are each 5-5 overall.
On Tuesday morning, however, New England wasn't reward much for its effort as most of the nation's Week 12 NFL Power Rankings don't have the Pats moving up a lot.
According to NFL.com, New England jumped from No. 7 last week to No. 6 this week. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk kept the Patriots at No. 4 overall, while SI.com's Peter King, who posted his rankings Monday before New England's victory, had the Pats jumping from No. 8 to No. 6.
