New England Patriots Work Out Six Players on Defense

According to Christopher Price of WEEI Sports Radio the Patriots brought six players in to work out for them:

The Patriots announced Friday afternoon via Twitter that the following players had come in for tryouts: defensive lineman Jason Parker, defensive end Dyrell Briggs, defensive back Anthony Madison, defensive back Joe Porter, defensive back Robert McClain and defensive back Darcel McBath.

All six players are on the defensive side of the ball and four are corners. This shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the Patriots suspect defense, who are allowing a league-high 416 yards per game – including a league-high 314 through the air.

Currently the Patriots start second-year player Devin McCourty and Kyle Arrington at cornerback. They released arguably their most productive corner this season – Leigh Bodden – a few weeks ago.
