Patriots Injury Update: Nate Solder Questionable With Concussion

The New England Patriots will travel to East Rutherford on Sunday night to face off against their rival, the New York Jets. In a game with first place in the AFC East potentially on the line – depending on what happens in Bills vs. Cowboys – the Patriots may be without the services of right tackle and 2011 first round draft pick, Nate Solder.

Solder – the 17th overall pick – was added to the injury report Saturday with a concussion. He is officially listed as questionable for Sunday night. Offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back) and Ryan Wendell (concussion) also are listed as questionable, which enhances the impact of the Solder injury.

Ian R. Rapoport from the Boston Herald weighs in:

He's not a starter, so its not crushing. But Solder has had the role of third TE recently and the Pats had planned on pounding the rock. I expected him to play a lot. Now, he may not play at all.
