Julian Edelman Arrest Update: Wide Receiver Allegedly Groped Woman, According To Police Report

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and battery charges after being arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly groping a woman on the dance floor during a Hallowen party at a Back Bay bar, according to a police report cited by the Boston Herald.

Edelman was freed on personal recognizance and ordered by a judge not to return to the Storyville Bar, the site of the alleged incident. Edelman was also ordered to steer clear of the alleged victim.

The police report states that Edelman "reached under" a woman's Halloween costume and "grabbed her vagina." A male witness said he watched "an expression of shock" come over the woman's face. The witness and the alleged victim both demanded that Edelman be kicked out of the club, but the pair were kicked out first when the witness threatened to fight Edelman.

Edelman was then asked to leave the club, later denying the allegations to police, according to the police report. He was arrested and subsequently booked by Boston police.
