Patriots Vs. Jets: Pats Will Go With Classic Jerseys This Weekend

On Sunday afternoon when the New England Patriots take on the New York Jets, the Pats will be wearing their throwback uniforms from 1985 (imprint of Refrigerator Perry not included).

The jerseys represent the year that the Patriots won their first AFC Championship, defeating the Dolphins in Miami. The Super Bowl didn’t go as well though as they were clobbered by Walter Payton and the Chicago Bears 46-10.

The uniforms will consist of the red jerseys, white pants, and the white helmet with the “Pat Patriot” logo on either side.

The Patriots are 7-3 all-time while wearing their throwback uniforms including 2-0 last season with wins over the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.

Kickoff for the game between the two AFC rivals is set for 4:15 p.m. and the game can be seen on CBS. The Pats come into the game at 3-1 while the Jets have lost two straight games and are 2-2.
