Patriots Vs. Jets: Tom Brady, Pats Excited To Face Jets On Sunday

Tom Brady is excited. Want to know why? Brady and his New England Patriots haven't played the New York Jets in quite some time, and this Sunday, they'll get the chance to do just that. The last meeting between these two teams didn't go as planned, as the Pats lost to the Jets, 28-21, in the divisional round of the playoffs last season.

Brady, speaking on The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show on the WEEI Sports Radio Network, shared his excitement on Tuesday morning, saying that he will be interested to see how Rex Ryan and the Jets play the Pats.

"It will be interesting to see how they play us," Brady said.  "I'm glad we have a week to prepare for them. We're going to need it. We're going to be excited to play when we see them on Sunday. It's been a long time since we played them." Brady said that New York's defense keys in on what the opposing offense likes to do and tries to take that away. But New England has shown that they now run the ball in addition to its pass attack, as the Patriots racked up 183 yards on the ground against Oakland. (via WEEI)
