2011 AFC Championship Game: New York Jets Travel To Pittsburgh Steelers

The 2011 AFC Championship is set, and as we're sure you know already, the Patriots won't be included. The New York Jets (shockingly) knocked off the AFC East Division champions Sunday night in Gillette Stadium, 28-21.

The win earned the Jets a spot in the 2011 AFC Championship Game, when they'll travel to Pittsburgh to battle the Steelers on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on CBS, with Jim Nantz, Phil Simms

The game will be a rematch of the Jets-Steelers Week 15 showdown, when, needing a win, the Jets got one, edging the Steelers, 22-17. New York got a Nick Folk field goal to go up 20-17 with about 10 minutes left in the game and then a Jason Taylor safety pushed their lead to five points which was too much for Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers to overcome.

The winner of the Jets-Steelers matchup will face either the Green Bay Packers or Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLV.
