Kevin Curry rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on 36 carries as Holliston defeated Cardinal Spellman 21-7 to claim the Division 3A Super Bowl title on Saturday morning at Gillette Stadium.
Sean Mayo completed 6-of-19 passes and rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores on 13 carries for Holliston.
The Panthers scored the game's first touchdown with 5:57 left in the second quarter when Mayo darted two yards into the endzone on the right side, putting Holliston up 7-0.
The Cardinals answered with a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Zac Cooney (6-of-9, 50 yards, 1 TD) to receiver Joe Glynn with 23 seconds remaining before halftime.
Mayo scored again on a quarterback keeper on the Cardinals one yard line as time expired in the third quarter, giving Holliston the eventual game-winning score and a 14-7 lead.
Holliston padded its lead late in the fourth quarter when Curry darted 10 yards into the endzone to build the Panthers' lead to 21-7.
An interception from Holliston defender Brody Ciarcello sealed the victory for the Panthers, who finished the season at 12-1. Cardinal Spellman, which entered the game undefeated, also finished at 12-1.
