Despite suffering from the flu, Tom Brady was out at the start of Thursday's practice, just a day after sitting out Wednesday's practice and twice rescheduling his media availability. He was limited in participation but the good news is "flu" is no longer listed next to his name on the injury report, as it had been previously.
The Patriots were without six other players, though: Deion Branch, Aaron Hernandez, Dan Connolly, Tully Banta-Cain, Jermaine Cunningham, and Mike Wright.
The flu, which Hernandez had last week, forced Brady to miss Wednesday's practice and push back his media availability from Wednesday to Thursday and then again to Friday.
