Patriots Vs. Bears: Brady Overcomes Wind For Long Touchdown Drive

With the way the wind is blowing at Soldier field, you might expect this game to be played on the ground.

Not so. While a few of Tom Brady’s throws were unusually errant, he found the open man on a pair of 3rd-and-longs to bring the Patriots into a red zone. After almost turning it over when Brian Urlacher tipped a pass high into the air, Brady hit Rob Gronkowski in the end zone (after the rookie tight end got up in Urlacher’s face) for the opening score and a 7-0 lead.

The biggest contributer, though, was undoubtedly Wes Welker. Three big grabs ate up most of the 88 yards the Patriots needed.
