According to the Boston Globe, Patriots left guard Logan Mankins will start on Sunday after a long, nearly 3 month holdout.
Even though the team received a two-week roster exception for Mankins, they decided to go ahead and activate him. As a part of his activation, the team decided to cut ties with cornerback Terrence Wheatley.
Mankins will start in his usual spot in between left tackle Matt Light and center Dan Koppen, where guard Dan Connolly has started for the Patriots first seven games.
