Let the afternoon of Randy Moss rumors and reports begin. A couple of reports, citing a league source, claim that the New York Jets did not submit a claim for Moss. For what it's worth, the Jets did not put in a claim for Shawne Merriman either.
It was reported earlier that Moss spent Tuesday in New Jersey meeting with the Jets.
Additionally, the Cleveland Browns did not put a claim in for Moss, reports The Plain Dealer's Tony Grossi, who quotes head coach Eric Mangini.
Teams have until 4 P.M. ET Wednesday to submit a claim for the receiver. The waiver order will remain unchanged, regardless of when a team puts in their claim.
