The Colts finally put up some points on a drive that hinged on a missed sack by Tully Banta-Cain.
After a strong drive down the field, including a leaping 3rd-and-10 reception by Austin Collie, Peyton Manning was in trouble on 2nd-and-10. Tully Banta-Cain was free in the backfield, and barelling down on a defenseless Manning.
What could have been a 3rd-and-very-long, though, turned into a huge play for the Colts. Banta-Cain flew past Manning with only minimal contact, and Peyton launched one for 25 yards to Donald Brown.
The Patriots almost managed the goal line stand, but a 3rd-and-goal play action pass from the one completely fooled New England, leaving a wide open Gijon Robinson free for the easy catch in the flat.
Tom Brady will get back to work with over five minutes left in the half.
