Logan Mankins ended months of contract disputes on Tuesday when he officially reported to the Patriots. The team made the announcement on their site at noon on Tuesday.
Bill Belichick said, "We're glad he's back," adding that he expects the Patriots to receive a roster exemption for Mankins.
Mankins decision to sign his restricted free agent tender comes roughly four and a half months after New England originally lowered it to $1.54 million. He is eligible to play immediately, but there is no word yet on whether or not he'll suit up against the Browns on Sunday.
