Nike NFL Uniforms: Are These The Patriots Jerseys For 2012? (Hint: Probably Not)

Back in October, news broke that Nike would be replacing Reebok as the NFL's official uniform provider beginning with the 2012 season. At the time, Charlie Denson, Nike's brand president, said Nike was "planning on changing the NFL jersey dramatically just like we've done with the college programs."

And if this (super rumored and super unofficial) sketch of what the Patriots' uniform will look like, Denson wasn't lying:

Obviously, the Ravens blog listed New England among the "5 Worst" (there are sketches for all 32 teams). The Buffalo Bills were among the "5 Best" (and admittedly, they are awesome).

So, there's about a two-percent a zero-percent chance this is real -- the logo on the helmet is backwards, for starters -- and neither Nike nor the NFL has confirmed, commented or even acknowledged these things exist. But, as Nike already said, change is coming ... hopefully it's not quite this extreme.
