2011 NFL Mock Draft: Patriots Predicted To Take DE, Center With First Round Picks

Because it's never too early to look ahead to the NFL Draft, SB Nation released its first 2011 NFL Mock Draft on Tuesday. It admits that its real purpose is to explore one question: how far might Jake Locker fall? (No. 16, to the Jaguars). But it's also a perfect opportunity to begin predicting who the Patriots might draft.

New England has two picks in the first round (of course they do), securing the Raiders' pick in the Richard Seymour trade (who would've thought that an Oakland draft selection wouldn't be in the top-20?).

21. New England Patriots (f/OAK): Cameron Jordan, DE, California. The rich get richer. Kadar: "Talk about a hand-in-glove choice. Love it."

32. New England Patriots (7-2): Stefen Wisniewski, C, Penn State. Kadar to wrap this puppy up: "With the best linebackers gone, offensive line is a good way to go for New England. Wisniewski could play at guard or center."
