The Patriots have increased their lead to a commanding 23-3 as Tom Brady took the ball the last few inches into the end zone for the team’s third touchdown of the night.
The biggest play of the drive was a deep ball to Brandon Tate—the sort you might have expected Brady to be throwing to Randy Moss a few weeks ago. The play went for over 40 yards. Shayne Graham missed the extra point (so maybe the ball does, on occasion, lie), but the Patriots lead is getting pretty commanding as is.
The Steelers are clearly upset right now, with fights breaking out. This had to be as much a statement game for them as it was for New England, and getting blown out at home can’t be making them too happy.
