The second half started much like the first for the Patriots’ offense, as Tom Brady calmly led his team down the field with accurate pass after accurate pass, culminating in a touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski.
The main target of this drive, however, was BenJarvus Green Ellis, who caught the first pass of the half for seven yards, and then another for a big gain, stumbling his way from Patriots’ territory all the way to the Steelers’ 39-yard line.
BenJarvus even played some defense, albeit for the Steelers, laying the biggest hit on Brady thus far as the two collided on a hand-off the play before Brady found Gronkowski for the touchdown. If that doesn’t show how well the offensive line has played tonight, I don’t know what does.
