We still have yet to hear from Randy Moss himself following his release from the Vikings Monday afternoon, but his agent, Joel Segal, did e-mail the Star Tribune today, detailing his client's feelings and reactions upon learning the news.
"Randy is very sad to find out about being waived by the Vikings this morning. He has and always will remain fond of the fans in Minnesota. We will let the process of the waiver wire take its course and we will move on from there."
Judd Zulgad's latest report on the situation in Minnesota also offers more reaction from linebacker Ben Leber, who admitted he was indeed "shocked" when head coach Brad Childress told the team about the decision to release Moss.
The deadline for a team to claim Moss off the waiver wire if Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. ET.
