Favre was wearing a protective boot as recently as Wednesday, but with the Vikings only 48 hours away from their game against the Patriots, Favre was seen back on the field Friday, albeit without much mobility.
At 2-4, the Vikings have to make something happen fast. Of course, whether having Brett Favre and his fractured ankle on the field will be a positive is anyone’s guess. The future Hall of Famer is currently sporting a 68.0 quarterback rating through six games, and has thrown for only seven touchdowns compared to ten interceptions.
If Favre does not play Sunday, it will break his streak of 291 consecutive starts.
