The Chargers offense seems to have turned it on after halftime too, responding with a long drive of there own. The Patriots defense was up to the task in the red zone, however, holding San Diego to just a field goal, leaving the Patriots two touchdowns ahead at 20-6.
Things almost went south for the Chargers again thanks to a bad snap that had Phillip Rivers diving on a loose ball. They managed to convert a 2nd-and-16, though, before a Brandon Deaderick sack held them short of the end zone.
