Patriots At Chargers: Long Drive Gives Patriots 17 point lead

Whatever Bill Belichick said to the offense in the locker room, it seems to have worked, as the Patriots started off the second half with an eight minute march down the field before BenJarvus Green-Ellis pounded the ball into the end zone for a 20-3 lead.

It didn’t look like things had changed at first after a few short runs and a bad pass or two. But after a personal foul kept the drive alive, the Patriots finally turned things on with a combination of long runs and sharp passes moving the ball down the field. Things looked bad after a sack set up with a 2nd-and-long, but a quick screen to Danny Woodhead saved the drive.

Now to see if the defense can keep it up.
