It's not just Deion Branch who is expressing his intense adoration of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this week.↵
Brady will be profiled in this week's NFL Films' "Top 100: NFL's Greatest Players" episode on NFL Network, which features the top 30-21st ranked players as selected by a variety of NFL types. As Peter King mentions in his Monday Morning Quarterback column on Sports Illustrated's website this morning, Brady will be lovingly introduced by a deeply unloved athlete by Boston Red Sox fans: New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. According to King, who saw a preview of the episode, Jeter expounds on Brady's cool:↵
"I think of a winner, a champion ... The [Super Bowl] that stands out the most is the first one he won [2001 versus St. Louis], leading the team down the field when time was running out. You could just see in his face that he remained calm."↵
Jeter is just one of several baseball players asked to introduce their favorite NFL legends in the episode, which will debut Thursday night at 9pm.
