Before Monday night's game, his first since being trade to the Vikings, Randy Moss received a text message from a long-lost friend: Tom Brady.
↵↵↵"Tom, I know you watching buddy, I appreciate that text," Moss told reporters at the new Meadowlands last night. "Sorry we didn't bring it home, buddy, but I appreciate the text."

And that was the last anyone ever heard about a Vikings player sending text messages.
↵Brady was on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Show Tuesday morning, but wouldn't discuss what he said to Moss.
↵↵↵"That's between he and I," Brady said, laughing. "Like I said, he's something special. He'll certainly be missed, but we gotta move on."
