Beanpot 2012, Northeastern Vs. Harvard: Crimson Lead 2-1 After Two

BOSTON - Northeastern knotted the score early in the second period, but Harvard added its second goal of the game as the Crimson took a 2-1 lead over the Huskies through two periods in the consolation game of the 2012 Beanpot on Monday night at TD Garden in Boston, MA.

Robbie Vrolyk potted his fifth goal of the year (even strength) at 4:07 of the middle period for Northeastern, tying the game 1-1. Alex Tuckerman (6) and Luke Eibler (5) had the assists on Vrolyk's goal. Alex Fallstrom scored his 10th goal (even strength) to give the Crimson a 2-1 lead at 18:13 of the period. Tommy O'Regan (4) and Dan Ford (21) had the assists.

Steve Michalek had 10 saves in the second period for Harvard and is up to 16 stops for the game. Clay Witt had 14 saves in the second and now has 25 stops for the game for Northeastern.
