The No. 1 Boston College Eagles host the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a top-ten showdown on Friday night in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
The defending National Champion Eagles are off to a 6-1-0 start to their title defense, their only loss coming in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Northeastern on Oct. 13. Boston College is coming off a 3-2 win over Massachusetts on Sunday, Nov. 4.
On the other hand, the Fighting Irish have begun the season at 6-2-0, with losses to Western Michigan (3-2) on Nov. 2 and Minnesota-Duluth (3-1) on Oct. 18 as the only blemishes. In their last game on Nov. 4, Notre Dame exacted revenge on Western Michigan, winning 4-0.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, the Minutemen, off to a 2-4-0 start, host Providence in a Hockey East battle. Massachusetts is coming off that 3-2 loss to Boston College on Sunday, while the Friars are 3-2-0 so far this season.
