Women's 2012 NCAA Tournament, UConn Vs. Notre Dame Halftime Score: Huskies Lead, 36-33

The UConn Huskies lead the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 36-33, at halftime in the 2012 Women's Final Four at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Both teams largely avoided foul trouble during a scrappy first half as very few fouls were called despite numerous opportunities for calls. That style of play favored the more physical UConn squad. After Notre Dame opened with a 9-4 lead in the first three minutes, UConn went on a 26-15 run over the next 13 minutes. As more fouls were called late in the half, the game tightened up.

UConn was paced by 12 points and 5 rebounds by Stefanie Dolson. Dolson had to sit on the bench with under 2 minutes to play in the half with two fouls. Bria Hartley chipped in 10 points for UConn. Notre Dame was led by 11 points by Natalie Novosel.
