The second round of the 2012 Big East Tournament is in the books. No. 6 South Florida finished off No. 14 Villanova to close out the action on Wednesday, a day highlighted by UConn's breathless overtime win against West Virginia. The Georgetown Hoyas and Louisville Cardinals were also winners on day two.
Thursday's games mark the first for four teams that had double byes to start the tournament. Those teams include: the Syracuse Orange, Marquette Golden Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
