Big East Basketball Standings 2012: UConn Drops After Up And Down Week

With the Big East Tournament on the horizon, teams went through their final stretch of regular season games before the seeding for the conference tournament begins.

When we checked in last Sunday, UConn was sitting in the thick of things in seventh place. After going 1-1 in their final two games, Jim Calhoun and the Huskies have dropped three spots to No. 10 in the Big East. UConn was able to take care of business yesterday against Pitt, 74-65; but dropped a heart breaker against Providence, 72-70.

The Huskies will battle the DePaul Blue Demons in their final regular game on Tuesday night at Gampel Pavilion.
