The UConn Huskies are on the precipice of their fifth straight Final Four appearance at the 2012 NCAA Women's tournament. To get there they will need to take out a 2-seed Kentucky Wildcats squad with its heart set on an upset. The two teams will tip-off Tuesday in the first Elite Eight game of the night.
The Maryland Terrapins will try to take out the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the fourth 2-vs-1 matchup of this year's Elite Eight. The 1-seeds are so far undefeated, with the Baylor Bears and the Standford Cardinal taking care of the Tennessee Volunteers and the Duke Blue Devils on Monday night to advance to the tournament's semifinals.
