After narrowly upsetting No. 2 Syracuse on Saturday night, the UConn Huskies suffered yet another disappointing loss in one of the toughest basketball conferences in the NCAA. Not to worry, the defending NCAA champions still have a shot to get into big dance with a big week ahead.
The Huskies will likely have to win out in order to receive serious consideration for a tournament bid. They have Providence and Pittsburgh left, so such a request is doable for this bunch. With Jim Calhoun still on the mend, the Huskies are still hanging on in the Big East standings, which can be seen after the jump.
