UConn Vs. Seton Hall First Half Score: Huskies Trail 35-22 At Halftime

The Connecticut Huskies trail the Seton Hall Pirates 35-22 after the first half of play at the Prudential Center.

Fueled by key shots by Jeremy Lamb and Shabazz Napier, UConn got off to an 11-2 start on the road against Seton Hall. The Pirates responded with a 15-5 run in which they had more energy and effort than the Huskies. Seton Hall had six steals and forced 16 turnovers in the first half.

UConn looked unable to respond effort wise after the Seton Hall run and couldn't get within striking distance to the lead as the half came to a close.

Turnovers were the story of the first half. Despite shooting 5-11 from three-point range, UConn was unable to close on the Pirates due to the turnovers. Seton Hall had just three turnovers.

Lamb led the Huskies in the first half with 13 points (3-5 from behind the arc). The Pirates were led by 10 points and two steals from Fuquan Edwin, nine points and four rebounds from Herb Pope and eight points and five rebounds and two steals from Brandon Mobley.
