Connecticut Guard Ryan Boatright Cleared To Play Following NCAA Investigation

According to Patrick Eaton-Robb, a news/sports reporter for the associated press, the University of Connecticut has announced that freshman guard, Ryan Boatright, has been cleared to play following his second NCAA investigation this season.

#UConn has announced that Ryan Boatright has been cleared to play after second NCAA investigation.

Boatright will make his NCAA debut against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Sunday night at the XL Center. He was held out of the first six games of the season because he of compensation he received from an AAU coach prior to coming to UConn, and was held out the Huskies' previous three games because the NCAA received further information regarding Boatright's compensation prior to his time at Connecticut.

The freshman is averaging 10 points, 3.5 assists and 3 rebounds on the season.
