Series History: UConn leads the all-time series against Buffalo, 14-4. The Huskies have won 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two schools from 1995 through 2005, with Buffalo's only win - a 37-20 win in Storrs - coming in 2001. In their last meeting, UConn posted a dominant 45-21 win over the Bulls on September 25, 2010.
Storyline: UConn started its season off with a dominant win over lackluster Fordham, but has since dropped two straight games against Vanderbilt and Iowa State. The Huskies are looking to right the ship on Saturday in upstate New York. This is the 19th time that UConn and Buffalo will be meeting, and UConn has history on its side. In addition, redshirt freshman running back Lyle McCombs is averaging 101.7 yards per contest so far this season.
