UConn Vs. Buffalo: TV Schedule, Time, Date Location, History And More

Lyle McCombs and the UConn Huskies head north to take on the Buffalo Bulls in search of ending their two-game losing stream on Saturday evening at UB Stadium.

Date/Time: Saturday, September 24, 2011 - 6:00 p.m. EDT.

Location: UB Stadium (Capacity: 29,013), Amherst, New York.

Broadcast Info: Saturday's game between UConn and Buffalo can be seen on SNY and an ESPN Regional channel. Jim Barbar will provide play-by-play, John Gregory will provide color analysis on SNY.

The game can be heard on the radio on WTIC 1080-AM, the home of UConn Huskies football for the last 20 years. Joe D'Ambrosio is on play-by-play duty, Wayne Norman will provide color and Kevin Nathan will be on the sidelines.

Series History: UConn leads the all-time series against Buffalo, 14-4. The Huskies have won 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two schools from 1995 through 2005, with Buffalo's only win - a 37-20 win in Storrs - coming in 2001. In their last meeting, UConn posted a dominant 45-21 win over the Bulls on September 25, 2010.

Storyline: UConn started its season off with a dominant win over lackluster Fordham, but has since dropped two straight games against Vanderbilt and Iowa State. The Huskies are looking to right the ship on Saturday in upstate New York. This is the 19th time that UConn and Buffalo will be meeting, and UConn has history on its side. In addition, redshirt freshman running back Lyle McCombs is averaging 101.7 yards per contest so far this season.

Prediction: Buffalo shouldn't be that tough of a test for a decent UConn team. Final Score: UConn 28, Buffalo 14.
