If you're reading this, then your (probably) already know: Monday night's national championship game was ugly. Like, 31-for-119 shooting ugly. Butler getting its shot blocked (10 times) nearly as often as it made a basket (12 FGs) ugly. The Bulldogs making just 18.8 percent of their shots, including an abysmal 3-for-31 shooting on two-pointers, ugly.
↵But none of that matters the morning after, because the Connecticut Huskies are the 2011 national champions, and no amount of bad shooting can cheapen that for their fans. "Not even the ugliest national championship game in recent memory could sully the perfect ending to the perfect postseason." See?
↵And for everyone else, there was "One Shining Moment," the official end to every college basketball season, and a video that divides sports fans like little else. Some think it is "the depressive's ode to basketball," while others endured a terrible 40 minutes of basketball just for three minutes of tournament highlights. Either way, here it is (via Jose):
↵↵One thing we can all agree on: Luther Vandross > Jennifer Hudson (no relation).
