The Connecticut Huskies play their final game of the regular season today, on the road against the Cincinnati Bearcats. With only five wins on the season the Huskies need to win today's game in order to become bowl eligible. They also have the opportunity to ruin the Bearcats Big East Title hopes. So far, it's not looking good for the Huskies, on either account.
Husky quarterback, Johnny McEntee is responsible for both touchdowns scored in the first quarter. Unfortunately for the Huskies, both scores came via their opponent. First McEntee was sacked, fumbled and the Bearcats recovered the loose ball for a touchdown. Later in the quarter McEntee threw a pick six. The Huskies trail 14-0 entering the second, and have amassed only 23 total yards thus far.
The remainder of the game can be seen on ESPN and ESPN3. Connecticut will begin the second quarter with the football.
