The Connecticut Huskies won their lone game this past week, but still fell one slot to No. 10 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The Huskies remained No. 9 in the AP Top 25.

UConn beat Harvard 67-53 on Thursday in a battle of ranked New England squads, when UConn's dominant defensive effort and 18 points from Jeremy Lamb ruined Harvard's first game as a ranked team. With the loss, Harvard dropped out of the top 25, but still received more votes than any other unranked team in either poll.

UConn returns to the court on Dec. 18 against Holy Cross.

Syracuse was ranked No. 1 in both polls, receiving 51 out of 65 first place votes in the AP Top 25 and 28 out of 30 first place votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
