Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, who is dealing with an injured hip that held him out of the Celtics' Dec. 29 contest with the Golden State Warriors and limited him during Boston's loss to the Sacramento Kings, remains questionable for Boston's game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
That's according to Boston coach Doc Rivers, who said Rondo's status for the game is uncertain after practice on Tuesday.
Rondo is recovering from a bruised hip, and he told reporters that the injury was limiting his mobility and style against both the Warriors and Grizzlies.
"I've never had this type of injury," Rondo told reporters Tuesday. "I got kneed on my bone and it's just been nagging. Nothing too serious, but if affects me a little bit. Obviously, my style of play, which is speed, I'm not able to plant as quick as I would like to right now, but I've been getting treatment every day."
