The Boston Celtics recalled forward Kris Joseph from their NBA D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, on Wednesday. Joseph appeared in one game with the Red Claws during his most recent assignment. He scored 14 points, grabbed six rebounds, and added two assists in a 98-87 loss to the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Joseph has appeared in two games for the Celtics this season, logging three minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 2 and getting five minutes of action against the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 30. Joseph has two points, one rebound, and one assist with the Celtics.
The Celtics selected Joseph in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft with the 51st overall pick out of Syracuse. Joseph made the Celtics' 15-man roster to start the season, but was sent to the Red Claws for the first time on Nov. 14. Joseph has appeared in three games with the Red Claws, averaging 21.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
