NBA schedule: Celtics host the Bucks on Friday

Boston has only a single game this weekend ahead of their Christmas day showdown with the Nets

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

The Celtics will have only one game this weekend ahead of their Christmas day showdown in Brooklyn with the division rival Nets. They'll host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, before taking the rest of the weekend off.

The Celtics enter Friday having won their last game, a 103-91 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The win brought them a win above .500, at 13-12 on the year. That record has them tied for second place in the Atlantic Division with their Christmas day opponents.

The Bucks enter Friday's game at 13-11, just ahead of the Celtics in the Eastern Conference standings. They lost their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies, 90-80. The Bucks have faced the Celtics three times already this season, beating the Celtics in two of the three meetings.
