The Boston Celtics will face a weekend back-to-back without their offensive catalyst as they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday and travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks on Saturday night.
They will be without point guard Rajon Rondo for both contests, as he is serving a two-game suspension for his involvement in a scuffle during the team's 95-83 loss at home to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night. It will be Boston's first meeting with the Trail Blazers, while their date with the Bucks is the third time the two teams have met already this season, with the first two games getting split.
Elsewhere on Friday, the New York Knicks host the Washington Wizards, who are coming off their first win of the season on Wednesday over Portland. Also, the Nets will be in Orlando taking on the Magic, and the Charlotte Bobcats host the Philadelphia 76ers.
On Saturday, Brooklyn stays in Florida to face the defending champion Miami Heat, while the 76ers are in Chicago taking on the Bulls. In a good Western Conference showdown, the San Antonio Spurs host the Memphis Grizzlies.
Sunday only features two games on the docket, as the Knicks host the Phoenix Suns in a matinee game and the Los Angeles Lakers host the Magic later at night.
