Celtics vs Bucks preview: Boston aims to stop Brandon Jennings

The Boston Celtics will try to contain Brandon Jennings on Saturday.

Brandon Jennings torched the Celtics for 21 points, 13 assists and six steals on 9-of-17 shooting from the field when these two teams last met and Boston will have to do a better job containing him if they are to improve to 3-3 on the season on Saturday.

The Bucks defeated the Celtics 99-88 Nov. 2 behind Jennings' performance on the road, dropping Boston to 0-2 on the season.

Boston is coming off a 106-100 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday despite 14 points and 20 assists from Rajon Rondo. The loss dropped the Celtics to 2-3 on the season.

Monta Ellis had 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field to help Milwaukee defeat the Washington Wizards 101-91 on Friday, which improved the Bucks to 3-1 on the season. Ellis leads the team in scoring at 18.5 points per game. Jennings leads the team in assists with 9.5.

Paul Pierce is averaging 20.0 points per game for the Celtics while Rondo is averaging a league-high 14.0 assists per game.
