Red Sox Vs. Yankees, Game 3: Weather Postpones Sunday's Series Finale

The Boston Red Sox will not collect a victory that will snap their current five-game losing streak, however, they got the next best thing on Sunday -- a rain out. The rainy forecast at Fenway Park has forced the finale of the three-game set against rival the New York Yankees to be postponed. A makeup date has yet to be announced.

Boston (4-12), which was suppose to toss reliever turned starter Daniel Bard against Yankee ace CC Sabathia, gets a much needed break as it will try to regroup from two of the worst regular season losses in recent memory.

On Friday, the Red Sox lost the 100th anniversary game at Fenway Park, and then on Saturday blew a nine-run advantage to lose to New York 15-9.

It is currently unknown what Boston's new pitching rotation will be, as it now will travel to Minnesota for a three-game set with the Twins.
