The maestro behind some of the best known movie music in the world has composed a piece to honor Fenway Park's 100th Anniversary.
↵John Williams, composer of music for Star Wars and Indiana Jones and former conductor of the Boston Pops, has written a piece called "Fanfare for Fenway." Williams led the Boston Pops in a recording of the new piece on Saturday at Symphony Hall.
↵The Red Sox provided the media with a clip from the recording, available here. The three minute long orchestral piece will be used through Fenway's 100th Anniversary celebrations this season.
