Manny Ramirez, the ex-Boston Red Sox left fielder and 2004 World Series MVP, has reportedly been arrested following a domestic dispute at his home in Florida, according to a TMZ report.

Witnesses tell TMZ Ramirez was taken out of his Weston, Florida home at around 7 PM ET in handcuffs. We're told Ramirez' wife was in the house. Two witnesses tell TMZ Ramirez and his wife were involved in an altercation. Ramirez' wife, Juliana, left the house shortly after Ramirez was taken away in the back of a police car.

Ramirez most recently played for the Tampa Bay Rays but retired near the beginning of the 2011 season following a second positive test for a banned substance, which would have resulted in a 100-game suspension.

In eight season with the Red Sox, Ramirez batted .312 with 274 home runs and 868 RBI. In 19 seasons, Ramirez totaled 555 home runs and 1,831 RBI while batting .312.
