- Kansas City Royals vs. Boston Red Sox - 7:10 p.m. (TV/Radio: NESN/WEEI): Fresh off a three-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners, Adrian Gonzalez and the Red Sox host the lowly Royals for a four-game set at Fenway Park. Boston will send Jon Lester to the mound, who is making his return from the disabled list. Kansas City will most likely start Kyle Davies, who boasts (using the term lightly) a 1-9 record with a 7.32 ERA. Andrew Miller gets the nod in game two and John Lackey should start in game three. Josh Beckett will pitch in the series finale.
