2011 MLB Draft Results: Matt Barnes, Blake Swihart Highlight Red Sox' Picks

The first day of the 2011 MLB Draft is in the books, and the Boston Red Sox came away with four new faces. Boston drafted UConn pitcher Matt Barnes with their first selection, No. 19 overall, and selected high school catcher Blake Swihart, high school pitcher Henry Owens and outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. on day one.

Here's a look at the Red Sox' complete draft haul so far, as well as their remaining picks.

First Round: No. 19 Overall - Matt Barnes (RHP - UConn)
First Round: No. 26 Overall - Blake Swihart (C - Cleveland High School, New Mexico)
Comp. Round A: No. 36 Overall - Henry Owens (LHP - Edison High School)
Comp. Round A: No. 40 Overall - Jackie Bradley Jr. (OF - South Carolina)
Second Round: No. 81 overall.
Third Round: No. 111 overall.
